To most people, building a cabin sounds impossible, because most people don't have space. Fortunately for us, we purchased a 30-acre block of land that is purely wooded. This gives us room to do a lot of things, including building a cabin. Our land is in Connecticut, which provides a lot of variety in the types of land, soil, and plants in the woods.

You might be wondering about why we chose to call our cabin "The Goodhouse Cabin". It's not very sophisticated, "Goodhouse" is just the name of the road that our woods are on
